Guide
How to build a bull profile page.
The bull profile is where a website becomes a sales tool. Done right, it reads like a page from a premium sale catalog — not a spreadsheet, not an e-commerce tile.
Here’s what belongs on a herd sire page, and how to order it.
What a bull profile should hold
- A big photo that becomes walking video on demand
- Name, registration and registry link up top
- DOB, sire and dam with a readable pedigree
- EPDs with breed percentiles, plus weights
- Genetic notes, progeny highlights and availability
- Documents — and a one-tap inquiry that already knows the bull
Make it feel like a sale book
Huge animal, minimal layout, the pedigree and EPDs in a clean side rail, video where the buyer expects it. Every field a serious buyer checks is present — but it reads like a catalog, not a form.
Turn the page into a lead
When a buyer inquires, the message should already carry the animal, the page and the video they watched — never a blank “contact form.”
Straight answers
Common questions.
Photo or video?
Both — a strong still that plays walking video on demand. Buyers want to see structure and movement.
How long should the page be?
Long enough to evaluate the bull, short enough to scan — media and data first, story second.
